Southern Oregon BrewFest: The 2022 Southern Oregon BrewFest will take place at the Expo, 1 Peninger Road, Central Point, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 16-18. The BrewFest is really several events rolled into one action-packed weekend of food, beverages and entertainment. BrewFest features more than 70 taps dispensing a wide selection of microbrews, ciders and regional wines from across the Pacific Northwest, the State of Jefferson and even some specially invited guests from the rest of the country’s favorite breweries. Breweries include Cascade Lakes, Cascadia Cider, Crux Fermentation Project, Deschutes, Gilgamesh Brewing, Hop Valley, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Mad River Brewing, Wild Ride Brew Co., Worthy Brewing and many more. The entertainment lineup features Stone in Love, a Journey tribute band on Friday; Jeff Dunham on Saturday; and Cole Swindell on Sunday. Tickets start at $20 for beer-tasting. Victorian History Tour: Hear about 19th century family life during a tour with costumed docents from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18, at the Beekman House, 470 E. The one-hour tour showcase women’s fashion styles from the Civil War period through the Edwardian age including garments from the Southern Oregon Historical Society’s collection. Historic Cemetery Tour: Take a guided tour of Medford’s oldest pioneer cemetery from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 20, at I.O.O.F Eastwood Cemetery Mausoleum Entrance, 1581 Siskiyou Blvd., Medford, near Bear Creek Park. The cemetery was founded by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) in 1890 and became city owned in 1972.
