Meet Katie Fawkes and Regina Mannino, two Southern Oregon University Grad students with a burning desire to give voice to Southern Oregon residents. When the Almeda Fire snaked its way down the Bear Creek Greenway in September it hit home for many SOU students. Katie and Regina are using their time to gather information from the community about what improvements Jackson County Parks and Rec can make to the Greenway as it undergoes reconstruction.
