In Photos: Opening day nears for Mt. Ashland
The snow was coming down sideways at times Thursday, and if you didn’t know where the Mt. Ashland Ski Area lodge was located when you pulled into the parking lot, you might have needed help finding it in whiteout conditions.
But that’s good news for skiers ready to don their onesies and head up to the mountain for opening day Saturday, when the ski area will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, see www.mtashland.com
